Toyota opens North American Headquarters
Something big is opening up in Plano, TX, in the form of Toyota's new North American Headquarters which includes seven buildings up to five stories tall, the façade is made mostly of glass, built from local and regional materials, and offers a parking structure and office building that can support solar panels. It seems typical of Toyota to include renewable energy for their new headquarters in the States, especially considering how almost 15 years ago they released the revolutionary Toyota Prius hybrid, and have completed work on hydrogen-fueled Toyota Mirai.
